tqs20 (tqs20) asked a question.

Adding Groups to Pre-Existing Rules

We can now have one rule to join users to multiple groups. Is there a way to add on to the groups after the rule is created? When I try, it seems like I have to delete the rule, and completely recreate it. And hope I remember all the groups.

Any workarounds, aside from readding the rule? Is this something that will be updated? I know it's a new feature and all.

    Hey Dorin,

Yes, I know it offers more granularity, but the rules I'm making right now are very simple and add them to a variety of groups.

Basically, if their department equals something, assign them certain groups which in turn gives them access to software in Software Centre through SCCM.

Fingers crossed that the functionality is added - otherwise it's just a pain to use.

    Cheers! 🙂
