touch id verification failed

Under Okta Mobile I keep getting Touch ID verification failed and have to enter my PIN. The iPhone unlocks fine with the registered fingerprints as well as Okta Verify. I have tried re-securing the device and adding more fingerprints but I keep getting touch ID failed when opening Okta Mobile on my iPhone (iOS 11.4.1 6S ATT) Any ideas?


  • Hi, start by un installing and re installing the Okta verify app then reset you MFA so you can re-enroll.

    If this fails open a case with Okta support for further investigation.
