Hi all,
I am new to Okta.
We want to change application username to email address. to do so, i have changed the format in specific app.
when i am trying to login using email address, i am receiving Authentication Failed error.
Please suggest, if i am doing something wrong.

Hi, for most applications when the username format is changed the old value is still saved in the assignment.
To update the username in the assignment after changing the username format the user/group must be un assigned and re assigned. To check the current value for the username, in the application's Assignment tab search for the user and click the Edit/Pen icon.
