OrieS.41316 (Customer) asked a question.
I know how to accomplish this via: https://developer.okta.com/authentication-guide/implementing-authentication/set-up-authz-server*create-claims-optional
However, this requires me to store all custom claim data in the universal directory, then use the Authorization server to add these claims to tokens. The benefit of this is that all JWT claims are tracked in the universal directory, and okta forces me to track how all claims are added to tokens. It might be ill-advised to dynamically create JWTs with claims that are not tracked in one central place. Still, i'm wondering if there exists a direct api for creating a JWT from my authorization server.
I'm hoping for something like: https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/admin/create-custom-tokens
I don't care about the login part, I care about the ability to generate a signed JWT via a trusted API that contains dynamic fields.
