StevenM.46060 (Customer) asked a question.

change sub for outgoing openid scope in requested id_token

How does one change the outgoing "sub" value in the openid scope when using the Implicit flow requesting the id_token.

"Security -> API -> Authorization Server -> Claims" Default sub mapping allows me to change it, but that is only when requesting the "access token", and I cannot specifically add it for "id token" because its telling me the sub is reserved rather then allowing me to overwrite.

  • Hi Steven,

At the moment, we do not offer the possibility to change the subject when issuing id_token, as it is reserved for identifying the user by it's user ID.
