Email notification when Okta can't deactivate user
Hi,

I use Okta to create and also deactivae users in our systems, one of the systems is Salesforce. when user leaves the company we are deactivating him from Okta in order to deactivate him in all other systems that connected to Okta. In case of Salesforce, user can be assign to process so the user cannot be deactivated until doing some changes in Salesforce.

in this case, i would like to receive a notification from Okta about getting error when Okta tryto deactivate user. Is this posible ?

  • Hi Hagai

Is Okta generating Tasks under the Dashboard menu? Also, under Settings > Customization, do you have Deprovisioning Workflow enabled?
  • Hi Hangai,

Just to add on the previous answer, when Deprovisioning Workflow is enabled, the deprovisioning workflow automatically generates tasks and emails when applications are unassigned or users are deactivated.
