Will deactivating a user in Okta disable the account in AD?
Our end goal is to have Okta manage most of our users and groups. So, if we setup a new user and have Okta create them in AD will Oktra then disable that AD account if it is deactived through Okta? Or does it stay active?

If it stays active, is there a way to get Okta to disable that AD account?

Hi, as far as I have seen, yes, it will deactivate users in active directory when you disable them in Okta.
