After implementing Okta for JIRA, Board Administrators are missing
We have 880 JIRA Agile boards in our JIRA server installation. These boards had 1-to-n Administrators associated with each board. After implementing Okta, all board Administrators have been removed. The JIRA user acounts are still pressent and all of the project roles, groups, filters, issues, etc remain associated with the user accounts, but the board Administrator was dropped.

Any thoughts on why/how this happened?

  • Hi Jeanne,

I'm following up on this question. I see that case 00194234 was opened by your org on 8/9 regarding the same question. It was determined in that case that this issue was due to a behavioral difference between Jira Core and Agile. The followup from that now-closed case was that Atlassian needs to research the issue and implement changes that will allow Agile to perform user imports in the same way as Core.

Please don't hesitate to reach back out to Okta Support if we need to revisit this issue or with any future issues or concerns.
