Issues with getting started with sample application for starting with SAML using Spring-Security

I am trying to run the sample applicaiton that demonstrates Okta with SAML using this page - http://developer.okta.com/code/java/spring_security_saml#

I am could get the application deployed in tomcat. But when I access URL, it does not load and there is no exception in the logs.

Did this sample work for others?

If you cannot deploy application in tomact server (that is localhost server that will run the web app - in this case sample app) then you'll need to troubleshoot tomcat, not Okta.
In order for us to be able to provide you with a more roubust answer, I recommend opening a support ticket with us.
