Federation hub functionality
Hello,

we are evaluating Okta and are searching for a solutions to allow two indepent universities access to the same "Facebook at work" instance.

Both universities have independent local Active Federaton Services Farms and Active Directory forests. We are not allowed to make any changes there, except adding a federation with Okta for each ADFS farm.

As "Facebook at work" only supports one ADFS connection, we would need some kind of "federation hub".

Can Okta provide that solution? And if yes, which kind of product/license would we require?

Thanks,

Thomas

  • Okta does support integration with multiple directories. For this specific case you could import the users from both universities into okta and from there provision all of the users into Facebook at work.
