This post looks to be about 2 years old. Has this changed since then? We are using OKTA and Paylocity and would love to have Paylocity be the source for user creation. Thanks!
We would like the same capability, and I'm surprised this hasn't moved anywhere. In the mean time Kevin, we're looking at 3rd party solutions using APIs through something like BetterCloud
I would definitely prefer this was built into Okta. Previously I've worked in Onelogin, and they were always very receptive with their integration efforts and would suggest and provide professional services to help with integrations of other HRIS as directories/source of truth. I'm really disappointed to see that this may not be an option with Okta
Has this condition changed? Is it possible to use Paylocity's HRIS as the source to provision/deprovision the accounts in Okta?
I will appreciate your comments.
Thanks,
Hi Rolando,
I've researched this question for the Paylocity apps in Okta and have confirmed that functionality has not yet expanded to include the ability to provision/deprovision accounts in Okta. At this time we still do not currently have plans in the roadmap to allow for User Provisioning from Paylocity > Okta.
I see that you've already created a post in the Community Ideas forum today, which is a great first step. If the Idea receives enough support from other Admins in the form of upvotes, the request will gain enough attention to be reviewed by the Product Team for potential inclusion in a future version of the product.
Thank you,
Nick
Okta Support
Paylocity-as-a-Source functionality in Okta was just released on 8/16. See the updated Paylocity integration page here. Notice that the "Create", "Update", and "Attribute Sourcing" features under Provisioning are now supported.
