  • Hi Michael,

Thanks for reaching out to the Support Community today! For ID tokens, the lifetime is indeed set to 1 hour and cannot be modified at this time. The only token that can be modified is the Access tokens which can be refreshed to generate new access tokens.

Additional information on how to refresh Access tokens can be found here: https://developer.okta.com/authentication-guide/tokens/refreshing-tokens

    Thank you!

Now , can i increase/decrease the expiry time of ID token.

i' m using your @okta/okta-angular package for an angular web application.

One hour is very inconvenient. Is there a way to refresh the token? Without the user noticing it?
