Org2Org Lifecycle management

Hello,

I am using the Okta Org2Org application with the IdP Discovery to connect my two Okta Tenants.

However I do not understand how the lifecycle management works.

The following guide says it is possible to "push user deactivation" on the target org. How does it work?

https://saml-doc.okta.com/Provisioning_Docs/Okta-Org2Org_Provisioning.html

On the configuration, it says "if the user is deactivated in the app" then it will deactivate on the target org. How is it possible to deactivate a user in the App?

Is it possible, or in any roadmap, to deactivate a user in the target Org if the user is deactivated in the Source Org?

Thank you for your help,

Clement

  • Hello Clement

    Dorin here with Okta support.

To answer to your queryes, Oeg2Org Provisioning and Life Cycle works exactlu like it would work for any application.

The documentation you referred to is quite acurate but in order to further clarify the situation please find below the article on Provisioning and Deprovisioning, as it is more complete and I believe it will shead som light on your query.
