The goal of lifecycle management is to fully automate and oversee the lifecycle of a digital identity. ​

This comprises:

• Establishment of user accounts automatically
• Giving those applications access to those accounts and the necessary licences
• Upgrading a worker's account when they change positions
• When a user no longer need access to such identities, those accounts are deactivated.
