Which SCIM version is Okta Provisioning Agent working
We are developing the gateway that transfer the Okta provisioning request to the local app, so we used the On-Premises mode, installed On-Pre Provisioning agent in local machine, and we are currently working on the preview okta (dev-xxxxx-admin.oktapreview.com). When we debugging against the Okta agent, we found that it is sending the Scim v1 request to our SCIM server, this is interesting, because as we know Okta is now working on the latest SCIM v2. We don't know whether there is some place to configure this to choose the SCIM version? or is this releated with the Okta agent version (we download it from the download page of the oktapreview.com ). So hope anyone could help us make clear about this, so we can decide which scim version we will implement on the Scim server. Thanks.
If you haven’t implemented SCIM, Okta recommends that you implement SCIM 2.0." it indicate that Okta provisioning is supporting SCIM 2.0, however when we tested on the preview site OPP agent, we noticed that it send out the scim request with version 1.0. So I'd like to emphasize my question: Which SCIM version is the OPP agent using? or is there place to configure the version?
In case anyone can't find the answer to this and ends up here like I did, I asked Okta support. Okta Provisioning Agent doesn't support SCIM 2.0 yet and it is a known issue they are tracking.
