Exact match confirmation - Auto confirm match
In the AD settings for Excat match confirmation, I have set it to 'Auto confirm Match' does that mean the user will be auto confirmed? If yes then I have several users in the import list with the status as EXACT match but they are not auto confirmed.

    Hello Gaurav,

     

    The 'Auto Confirm Match' has a set of conditions that need to be selected above the drop down in order for the confirmation to create the user automatically. The conditions are as follows: 
    • Their Okta username format matches an existing Okta user
    • Their email address mathces an existing Okta user
    • Their Okta username format OR their email address matches an existing Okta user
    • Their first and last name matches an existin Okta user
     Please check these settings and ensure the matches that are being imported meet the conditions selected.

    Hello,

     

    I am new to OKTA.

     

    Question: while importing users from AD to OKTA. If I enable options "auto-confirm exact matches or auto-confirm partial matches" then what happens to user who already exists in OKTA. For example we have a user called james in OKTA and we have user name james in AD as well, If I enable option auto-confirm for user name exact match then user will be imported into OKTA, does it over-writes information in OKTA?
