We need monitoring and alerting I hope in your KB you will have solution to export metrics and logs.

With metrics we are using graphite and for logging elasticsearch.

    Hi Ruben,

Thank you for your submittal. We have many tools available for you to leverage, including running reports and exporting data that you need for monitoring your organization.

I've attached some of our documentation on Reports and the Okta System Log, to help you get started:

    Reports (https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Reports/Reports.htm?cshid=Reports_Reports#Reports_Reports)

    System Log (https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Reports/Reports_SysLog.htm)

If you would like a deeper understanding of the tools available to you, I would recommend opening a case with Okta support. A Support Engineer will be there to answer, as well as document and track, your questions about the reporting options within the Okta application.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, This not the think that I’m looking for. I want to download ‘System Log’ in real time and push it in my ElasticSearch. I want to keep all metrics in one place.

Hi Ruben, its 2 years on, and still this doesn't exist. You have to write code to download the SystemLog (API), then use something like Filebeat to ship it to Elasticsearch.

Then you have to write more code to manage the downloaded okta system log files 🙂
