After almost three years of the pandemic, Oktane was finally back in person for 2022. This year, the conference took place in Moscone West, San Francisco’s hub for innovation, bringing together like-minded builders and leaders to transform the future of identity.

We’re now on Day 2, and the momentum continues. The excitement of seeing attendees in person was infectious, and folks had a great time connecting with subject matter experts in Identity and gaining actionable insights from the expert keynotes, breakout sessions, and the exhibit hall.

The Community team had a blast engaging with Workforce and Customer Identity experts in the “Customer Support Hub” and showing attendees all the self-help resources available to support them on their journey with Okta. Check out the top highlights from the Community Team

How do you Community?

The Customer Support Hub was buzzing with energy and meaningful conversations where attendees shared what they love about the Okta Community.

There were a few common themes:

  • Finding quick answers, sharing knowledge, and growing professionally
  • Collaborating with Okta subject matter experts and other Okta users
  • Being helpful by providing answers to customers' common questions
  • Easily browsing what's trending, top knowledge base articles, and popular asked questions
  • Connecting with like-minded peers in online Community groups and in-person events like Oktane
  • Collaborating with Okta's product team by submitting ideas and feature requests

There was a lot of excitement about Okta Ideas, which provides customers with a mechanism to share feedback, request features, or offer new ideas. Customers love that Okta hears their voices and that they can influence Okta’s product roadmap. Customer Support + Product Management partnering in action is collaboration at its best.

A Conversation with Earvin “Magic” Johnson

NBA Hall of Famer, Magic Johnson took the stage with Steve Rowland, Chief Revenue Officer at Okta for a fireside chat on his life and legacy. He has had such a positive impact on so many people and communities around the country. Attendees walked away feeling inspired and ready to take their careers to the next level.
