Verkada Provisioning "Error while trying to push profile update for user: Bad Request. Errors reported by remote server: Invalid request"

Overview

When pushing profile updates or provisioning users to Verkada, the following error message may be encountered:
 

Error while trying to push profile update for user: Bad Request. Errors reported by remote server: Invalid request.

  • Verkada
  • Provisioning
  • Attributes

Cause

This error is due to the Okta User missing attribute values for attributes mapped from Okta to Verkada. Verkada cannot accept blank values and will fail to provision the user.

Solution

Please follow the steps below:
  1. Ensure each user has a value set for the attributes mapped from Okta to Verkada in the Profile Editor.
  2. Once all attribute values have been filled out, reattempt the profile push or user provisioning.
  3. Confirm that the user is successfully provisioned.
