Overview
When trying to use the Test API credentials button in Snowflake, the following error might be encountered:
Error authenticating: Internal Server Error. Errors reported by remote server: Invalid JSON: Unexpected character ("< "(code 60))

Cause
This error is reported by Snowflake, and it can be caused by multiple reasons, not necessarily an invalid/badly formatted API token.
One of the main causes of this error, besides an incorrect API token, is the Network Policies in Snowflake, as they could deny the requests sent from Okta.
Solution
Ensure that all Okta IPs corresponding to the relevant organizational cell are allowed. IPs and more info can be found in the article below:
