Okta does not natively support provisioning for Kolide. However, this article presents a couple of options available for setting up provisioning with Kolide.
- System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM)
- Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
- Okta Integration Network (OIN)
- Kolide
Option 1
- Search for the Kolide app in the OIN catalog and set up Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) to allow users to SSO into the app.
- Create a separate custom app for provisioning purposes. To see how to configure SCIM provisioning using a custom app, have a look at the How to Enable SCIM Provisioning in a Custom App article.
- To understand the details required for configuring provisioning with the custom app, please refer to Kolide's document Set Up SCIM Provisioning for Kolide.
Option 2
- Set up both SAML and SCIM using a single custom app. To do this, navigate to Applications > Application > Create App Integration > Select SAML 2.0. Please refer to How to Configure a Custom SAML App for instructions.
- Follow the instructions below to set up both SAML and SCIM for the app (please refer to the How to Enable SCIM Provisioning in Custom App article above):
This should then allow for SCIM/SAML functionality.
