Users are being prompted to install Okta Verify on iOS devices even though the app has already been installed. The user tries to sign in with FastPass or Push, but the app does not automatically pull up or prompt on the screen. This article will test if Universal Link is malfunctioning.

Due to issues with Universal Link, iOS registration is malfunctioning.
To troubleshoot, ask the end user to do the following:
- On the phone, go to Settings > Apps > Safari > clear History and Website Data.
- Open a new tab > try to log in. If this fails, proceed to step number 3.
- Navigate to
login.okta.com/auth/okta-verifyin mobile Safari. - Make sure that the Open button is shown. If it is not shown, try scrolling down; sometimes, it hides behind the Safari address bar.
- Tap on the Open button. It will open Okta Verify (OV), and will show a Failed Transaction message > close the error message.
- Open a new tab in Safari browser > try to sign in with FastPass.
