This article details the supported use case of Okta Verify FastPass on a shared workstation.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Okta Verify FastPass for Windows
- Okta Verify FastPass for macOS
- Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
Okta Verify FastPass can work on a shared workstation provided that each user has their individual user account on the device.
Okta Verify enrollments are segmented by the user account which is logged in when they enrolled. If different people sign into the machine with different user credentials, they will not see each other's accounts in Okta Verify.
NOTE: Kiosk-style stations where multiple people use the same user credentials are not supported, as there would be no secure separation between users on the device.
