What is the Okta Renewal Snapshot?

The Okta Renewal Snapshot is a 1-pager sent before your upcoming renewal that demonstrates how Okta has helped your organization reach your identity-powered security, operational excellence, and workforce productivity goals.

How can I access my Okta Renewal Snapshot?

To access your reports through the Okta Support Center:

  1. Sign in to the Okta Support Center
  2. Click your profile photo dropdown menu
  3. Select My success hub.
  4. Click on View reports under My personalized reports.

What Okta products are reflected in the snapshot metrics?

The data in the report reflects your organization's usage of SSO (Single Sign-On), MFA (Multi-factor Authentication), Workflows, FastPass, and LCM (Lifecycle Management), if applicable.

What date range does this snapshot reflect?

Lookback metrics for ThreatInsights, if applicable, reflect the last 365 days from the date you received the report. All other metrics lookback or aggregate 30 days of data to ensure we are providing the most up-to-date information.

Who receives these snapshots?

Super administrators, executive sponsors, and primary renewal Okta contacts within your organization will receive a link to your organization's renewal snapshot. Log in is required to view personalized reports.

Will I receive this report on an ongoing basis?

No. This is a program that you'll receive only upon your renewal. If interested in a recurring quarterly snapshot, check out our Business Value Snapshot to learn more.

How can I see what threats were blocked or what IPs were detected?

You can query this information from the System Log. Navigate to Reports > System Log from your Okta Admin console and use the query eventType eq "security.threat.detected".

How do I view and modify my MFA policies so more employees can access Okta with multi-factor authentication?

You can view and modify MFA policies by navigating to Security > Multifactor > Factor Enrollment from your Okta Admin Console.

I do not see a snapshot report in my reports. How do I get a renewal snapshot?

Value snapshots are automatically provided to all customers with a Silver Success entitlement and who own Workforce Identity Cloud or Customer Identity Solution products with our standard baseline SKUs*. If you are a Gold customer, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Renewal Manager to learn more. Note that you must be within your renewal period in order to receive your snapshot.

If you believe you are eligible to receive a snapshot but still haven’t received one, please email digitalcustomersuccess@okta.com.

*Baseline SKUs include “Single Sign-On” for Workforce Identity Cloud and “Enterprise SSO” for Customer Identity Solutions
