Okta FastPass on Linux Desktops

Overview
As of September 16, 2026, Okta supports Okta Verify for Linux desktop operating systems. The agent is currently in Self-Service Early Access; enable the feature from the Admin Console to gain access to the download. Ubuntu 24.04 and Ubuntu 26.04 are the only supported distributions at this time. Solution
Enabling Okta Verify for Linux on an Org
Okta Verify for Linux is in Self-Service Early Access (EA). Enable the feature directly from the Admin Console.
- Sign in to the Admin Console.
- Go to Settings > Features.
- Locate Okta Verify for Linux and enable it for the org.

Supported Linux Distributions for Okta Verify
Ubuntu 24.04 and Ubuntu 26.04 are currently the only supported Linux distributions for Okta Verify. Additional distributions may be added in future releases — monitor the Okta Identity Engine (OIE) release notes for updates.
