Last Updated:
Overview
Group push from Okta to the Advanced Server Access (ASA) application is failing with the error:
Not Found. Errors reported by remote server: User does not exist
Applies To
- Okta Advanced Server Access (ASA)
- Okta Group Push
Cause
One or more users from the Pushed Group are in a deleted state on ASA. This results in the error as the request could not find the mapped user on the target application (ASA).
Solution
To solve this issue, please follow the steps below:
- Identify the deleted user on the ASA end after mapping with the source user list from the Okta group.
- Change the identified deleted user state to Active after clicking on the gear icon on ASA.
- Push the group again from Okta.
