When installing the Okta AD Agent, the following error may be encountered:
Failed to verify connectivity to Okta Services: unable to connect to the remote service
- Active Directory
- Okta AD Agent
This error is most commonly due to local network configuration preventing connection to Okta IPs or domains. Ensure that the appropriate Okta resources have been added to the network allowlist.
All Okta domains and the IP addresses for the cell of the affected org should be allowlisted. For more information and the full list, please see Allow access to Okta IP addresses.
