Solution

The "carrier messaging charges may apply" message is a standard component of the SMS verification flow and cannot be modified or removed. This text exists to ensure compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements for SMS-based authentication.

To prevent users from seeing this message, use one of the following options:

  • Disable the SMS factor in the authentication policy.
  • Require the use of a different authenticator, such as Okta Verify.
