How to Generate a Telephony Usage Report to Check How Many Messages Are Sent through Okta

Overview

This article details how to get a report on the number of telephony SMS or Voice messages sent through the Okta environment.

Solution

To generate the report:

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Reports > Reports.
  2. In the Telephony section, click Usage Report.
  3. Enter an event period to filter the report. Okta retains events for 90 days, so the earliest available date range is 3 months prior.
    • Okta recommends applying only one event period filter to the report.
    • Optional: Specify a telephony type (Voice or SMS) to filter the report.
  4. For a detailed comma-separated file (CSV) of the report, click Export CSV.
