The goal of this knowledge article is to present the steps for verifying the version of the Okta Browser Plugin installed in the user's web browser.

• Okta Browser Plugin

1. Navigate to the web browser.
2. Click the Okta Browser Plugin icon on the Browser Toolbar.

3. Click the gear icon to navigate to the Okta Browser Plugin Settings.

4. The Okta Browser Plugin version is shown on the first line of the Okta Browser Plugin Settings.

NOTE: The icon of the Okta Browser Plugin will not show up on the Browser Toolbar if the Okta Browser Plugin is not pinned.

For the Okta Browser Plugin to to pinned, follow the steps below for Chrome:

1. Click on settings (Three dots) on the right side of the Browser and hover over Extensions:

2. Click on Manage Extensions:

3. Find the Okta Browser Plugin and click on Details.

4. Search for the "Pin to toolbar" option and enable it:

For Firefox:

1. Click on the puzzle Icon on the right of the toolbar

2. Find the Okta Browser Plugin and click on the Cog icon:

3. Click on the "Pin to toolbar" button:
