Overview
This article clarifies whether an Okta user session can be automatically terminated when a user reboots their workstation. The desired behavior is for the user's session to be invalidated upon reboot, requiring a new sign-in. However, the observed behavior is that the user session is preserved after the workstation restarts.

Solution
There is no feature in Okta that automatically terminates a user session when a workstation reboots. Okta session management is not directly tied to endpoint events like a device restart.
