Auto-Confirm Matching Options

• Auto-Confirm Exact Matches

  • Automatically confirms the user when there is an exact match with the predefined criteria.

  • This option only works for existing users who have already been created in Okta.

  • If an imported user does not have a profile present in Okta, their imported profile will show up in the import tab.

• Auto-Confirm partial Matches

  • Automatically confirms user creation when there is a partial match with predefined criteria.

Auto-Confirm User Creation

These options are usually used to auto-create/activate a user's profile if it does not exist in Okta after an import.
 

• Auto-Confirm New Users

  • Automatically creates an Okta profile and auto-confirms it.

• • The user will be in a staged status in most cases because they do not have a password configured. 

• Auto-Activate New Users

  • Automatically activates new user accounts upon creation.
