Okta is pleased to introduce Secure Partner Access in Workforce Identity Cloud.

Cybercriminals are increasingly targeting third-party access, making it even more urgent to improve security and reduce risks across all users, devices, and apps. Companies with external collaboration and partnerships at the core of their business need a better way to share resources with large networks of vendors, distributors, and suppliers while reducing risk.
Okta’s Secure Partner Access is a feature set that enables business partners to securely and seamlessly access select internal resources without requiring significant development, customization, and management tasks from IT.
Business partners may have employees with whom you regularly collaborate to achieve common business goals. This may require granting your partners and their users access to shared applications and resources. Secure Partner Access provides a solution for collaborating and granting secure access to resources for your business partner and their employees (users). Secure Partner Access powers modern digital businesses, enabling secure and efficient interactions with supply chain and distribution partners.
Secure Partner Access feature gives the ability to do the following:

Create a separate portal for your partner admins to manage user, app, and group assignments. Partner admins can manage users and app assignments outside the Okta Admin Console. This ensures the least privileged access and prevents partner admins from accessing the Admin Console.
- Delegate administration of isolated populations to partner admin with specific permission to manage the groups and users. Partner admins can perform all lifecycle management actions for their end users through the portal while being kept out of the Okta Admin Console.

Customize and build the portal using APIs instead of Okta's pre-built offering.
Secure Partner Access is available as an Early Access (EA) Feature as of 11/14/24. It is a new SKU. If interested in more information, please use the "Contact us" option.
