Okta Verify generates a persistent Okta FastPass notification on Android devices to satisfy operating system requirements for background services. The user can resolve this by adjusting the notification settings on the Android device. The user encounters the following continuous notification:
Sign in faster with Okta FastPass

The Android operating system requires a permanent active notification of a certain visibility level to run a background service continuously. The operating system enforces this requirement to prevent applications from running background services without notifying the user.
