Okta Verify is a lightweight application that allows secure access to applications via two-step verification. Administrators and end-users occasionally need to configure a new installation of the application. Download, install, and add a user account to the Okta Verify application to establish secure access.

What are the steps to add a user account to Okta Verify?

Download the Okta Verify application from the Okta Admin Console, install the application, and configure the user account using the following procedure.

 

  1. Go to Settings > Downloads in the Okta Admin Console.
  2. Download and install the Okta Verify application.
  3. Open the Okta Verify application.
  4. Select Get Started, and then select Next. If an account already exists, select Use another account.
  5. In the First, enter the sign-in URL window, enter the Okta organization URL (for example, <oktaorg>.okta.com>). Select Next.
  6. Okta opens a browser window. Enter the username and password for the user account.
    NOTE: If an existing session is active, the browser attempts to sign in using that active session. Sign out of that account to ensure Okta Verify adds the correct account.

Okta Verify successfully adds the user account to the application.
