Last Updated:
Overview
When logging into Okta Verify, end users are sometimes not prompted for Touch ID as expected.
Applies To
- Touch ID
- iOS Devices
Solution
End users will not see a Touch ID verification for Okta Verify in the following two scenarios:
- The device is locked, and the end user is being asked to approve a factor. The user will first need to unlock the phone and will then be able to click Approve.
- If the device is unlocked within the last 60 seconds, the end user will not see an additional Touch ID prompt.
