Set Email Preferences in the Okta Community

- Someone posts a question directly to you.
- Comments on your post comment.
- Starts a conversation in a group you belong to.
- Mentions you in a new thread.
Standard email notifications preferences are set by the community platform, but you are able to customize them to suit your needs.
To modify your email preferences:
- Login to your Okta Community at support.okta.com
- In the right top corner, click your profile picture
- Select Email Preferences.
- Modify your email notifications by checking and un-checking boxes.
If you belong to any Community Groups, you can update your group-specific notification settings directly from the Group's page:
- Navigate to any group in which you are a member
- Select the carrot dropdown next to the mail icon
- Modify your email notification preferences (we recommend turning them on for every post!)
