Set Email Preferences in the Okta Community

Use email alerts to keep up with what’s trending in the Okta Community! You can choose to receive email notifications whenever:
 
  • Someone posts a question directly to you.
  • Comments on your post comment.
  • Starts a conversation in a group you belong to.
  • Mentions you in a new thread.

Standard email notifications preferences are set by the community platform, but you are able to customize them to suit your needs.

To modify your email preferences:
  1. Login to your Okta Community at support.okta.com
  2. In the right top corner, click your profile picture

  1. Select Email Preferences.
  2. Modify your email notifications by checking and un-checking boxes.

If you belong to any Community Groups, you can update your group-specific notification settings directly from the Group's page:
  1. Navigate to any group in which you are a member
  2. Select the carrot dropdown next to the mail icon
  3. Modify your email notification preferences (we recommend turning them on for every post!)
