This article provides a solution to a common issue where Safari browser users are continuously prompted to install the Okta Browser Plugin despite having completed the installation.

Cause
This issue arises when the Okta Browser Plugin installation process does not automatically enable the plugin within Safari's settings. As a result, users may experience recurrent prompts to install the plugin.
Solution

To resolve the issue, can manually enable the plugin in Safari's settings. Here's how:

  1. Open Safari on the computer.

  2. Click on the Safari menu in the top left corner of the screen and select Settings...

  3. In the Settings window, click on the Extensions tab.

  4. Look for the Okta Browser Plugin in the list of extensions. If it is disabled, enable it by clicking the checkbox next to it.

  5. Close the Settings window and restart Safari.

After completing these steps, the Okta Browser Plugin should be enabled in Safari and should no longer receive prompts to install it.
