How to Exclude a User from Okta Verify MFA

Exclude the user from the MFA Sign-On rule

1. Navigate to Admin Console > Security > Authentication.
2. Click on the Sign On tab.
3. Find the MFA Policy.
4. Click the pencil or Edit button for the MFA rule.
5. Add the user in the Exclude user section.

6. Click Update Rule.

Exclude user from MFA enrollment

1. Navigate to Admin Console > Security > Multifactor.
2. Click Factor Enrollment.
3. Find the MFA policy.
4. Click the pencil or edit button for the MFA rule.
5. Add the user in the Exclude user section.

6. Click Update Rule.
