Okta Access Gateway URL does not load the credentials page and shows the warning:
Admin UI service is not Available
- Okta Access Gateway (OAG)
The OAG web console is managed by the Access Gateway Admin service. In case of any issues with this service, the URL cannot be loaded successfully. The service can be accessed by navigating the Management Console page > 2 - Services > 2 - Access Gateway Admin.
After getting into the Access Gateway Admin section, the status can be checked on it using > 4 - Check status. For this issue, the status showed issues with the service (refer to the snapshot below):
It can also happen when the admin accidentally stops the service using step 2 - Stop Access Gateway Admin under the Access Gateway Admin section.
To fix the issue, the service needs to be started. Please use the steps below to proceed further:
- Navigate to option 2 - Services.
- Go to option 2 - Access Gateway Admin.
- Start service using option 1 - Start Access Gateway Admin.
Contact Okta Support to find the root cause of the issue if:
- The service was not stopped by the admin.
- The issue still exists after starting the Access Gateway Admin.
