Non-Interactive/Secure Install of Okta Provisioning Agent
We would like to run the Okta Provisioning Agent, but the current installation model appears to require manual, interactive setup on a Linux host: manually downloading an RPM from the Okta portal, logging into a host, running configure_agent.sh, and completing a browser-based authorization step tied to that host.
This is a problem for organizations following security best-practices: we require all systems to be implemented using IaC, all software to be put through secure deployment pipelines, package and image integrity verified, and command line access denied entirely.
Can you help us with a mechanism to install the Okta Provisioning Agent in a stateless + secure way?

This use case is not currently supported. At best, you can check with your Okta Account executive to discuss your requirements and see if perhaps a custom solution can be implemented via Professional Services.
In the meantime, you can suggest this as a Feature Enhacement on the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.
