Hey everyone,
I use Okta Verify for 2FA with my work, and I have 30+ 2FA accounts tied to different customer logins. I just got a new phone, and even though I can still sign in to my.okta.com via email, none of my 2FAs transferred over.
When I click on any of the accounts, there’s no option to migrate, re-add, or generate a QR code — basically no way to move them to my new device.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there any way to restore them, or am I stuck having to re-enroll all 30 manually?
I’ve heard Google Authenticator now supports automatic transfer and backup, so I’m considering switching away from Okta to avoid this happening again. Any advice or workarounds would be appreciated!

Hi @JeremyB.45704 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
If you still have the old device and your organization or service provider have the required FastPass features, you can look into adding the account from there via the “add your Okta account to another device option”. Details here:
For iOS:
https://help.okta.com/eu/en-us/content/topics/end-user/ov-ios-add-acc-bluetooth.htm
For Android:
https://help.okta.com/eu/en-us/content/topics/end-user/ov-andr-add-acc-bluetooth.htm
If that feature is not available, you will need to manually re-enroll the accounts.
If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.
Hope my answer helps!

My company doesn't use Okta. I just used Okta personally and scanned the QR code to set it up as a 2FA. So none of the accounts have the add to another device option.
