Which resource should I associate with a role's agent permissions?

Hello,

I found in the documentation that there are permissions for managing agents via a custom admin role.

https://help.okta.com/oie/en-us/content/topics/security/custom-admin-role/about-role-permissions.htm*Agent

I want to allow this to non-OKTA administrator colleagues, to delegate the reinstallation of AD agents to them when necessary.

But I can't find which resource set to create and then associate it with this custom admin role...?

No matter what I select in my resource set, I get the message "Resource set includes resources that are not affected by the permissions in the role" when I associate it with the custom admin role in an administrator's list of roles!

Thanks.

When the warning shows, you could potentially ignore the warning.

As long as they have register/manage agent, the accounts should be able to manage existing agents and register new.

Note that if you are integrating it for the first time you may need full directory permission associated with the user in order to install and register new directory in to okta.

The warning is just saying youve included resource sets that arent specified in the role permission. Review your role permission to make sure agents are included in there as well
