Hello, I set up a free trial, but I am unable to log in after activation. It asks me to use Okta Verify, but I am unable to set up Okta Verify as it states I need to have a paid account to utilize it. Thus, I am left in a loop where I can only choose to return to the sign in screen. When I choose this option and try and sign in again, the same message appears. Is there something I am missing here?

Hello @StephenR.98985 (Customer) , thank you for contacting Okta Community.
The Okta Verify app is free to download and use. The trial org is also free to use.
If you are using an iPhone and want to download an app from Apple's AppStore, you may need to enter an appleID.
Regards.

Hi. Thanks.
Upon receiving your message, I went to gather more information about the issue I was having and had a different experience.
Initially when I would click the "Set up" button in the screen capture I shared, I received a message that said Okta Verify is only for paid users. After downloading the app, I also was not able to sign into it and received a message that I needed a QR code, which I did not have.
This time, when I tried to sign-in to trial instance, I did receive a QR code. I am not sure what took place under the hood there.. but I am all set now.
Hello @StephenR.98985 (Customer) , I'm glad things worked out.
It would have been interesting to see the exact message asking you for a paid account. Did you manage to take a screenshot of it, by any chance?
Regards.

I did not, but it was when I clicked on that Setup button in the screenshot I did get.
