RamR.79845 (Customer) asked a question.

All users attributes are not syncing to OKTA.

 

We are having an issue where not all attributes are synced for some users, and at the same time, other users attributes are populated. Users are sourcing from Active Directory, and all users have all the attributes set.

 

For e.g. userA/B/C has Manager & ManagerID is populated but for UserX/Y/Z those users don't have those attributes.

    @RamR.79845 (Customer)​ it's hard to pin point to something without full context

    May be you can review the following.

    - Is there any difference in how the accounts got created in to active directory between accounts that are synced and accounts that are out of sync?

    - Revalidate if there are any other profile sources and if the user profiles that don't have AD values, check if they are managed with another profile master.

     

    If you think there are no problems in configuration and if you have paid account, rise a support ticket.

    This is happening in Preview, but in Prod same users have those attributes populated, and they all are sourced from the same AD domain.

     

    For your first query: No, all users are onboarded by the same process in AD.

     

    2nd query: All the accounts are synced from the same source domain. In AD all the attributes are set and populated.

    @RamR.79845 (Customer)​ do you see attributes in the profile but with empty values? Or do you not see attributes at all?

    You can try revalidating the setup between prod and preview for mappings (profile editor> Active directory> Mapping and check for Active directory to Okta)

     

    See if the mapping looks same between the environment.

     

    If the mappings look good, I'd suggest to rise support ticket.
