When I try to log into my Okta free integrator account and I have issues from Win 11, from Linux I have no issues.
I log using my email, password, and Okta verify code, and login successfully, within a second or two I am signed out. This set of steps continue indefinitely.
I did see this post (https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/windows-okta-verify-login-loop?language=en_US) but I have no proxy and the only security tool I can think of installed on my laptop is Crowdstrike.
Do you have any ideas how to resolve this?

I could be a bad cookie. Try clearing cache/cookies, a different browser or private window. Use the default login URL (example: myorg-123123.okta.com/login/default ) in case you are using one from your browser history that might have redirects.
Check the device time/date settings to ensure it's synced.
If none of that helps, leverage your successful login via Linux to check the Okta System Logs for policies being hit while logging in on Windows and possible causes.

@GeorgeK.71475 (Customer) do you have the same experience across all the browsers on windows?
Can you try private browser /incognito and see if it works?
It might have to do with the Authentication policy. If you have the "Okta MFA From Azure AD" enabled, it might have to do with your Authentication Policy for Office. Since MS doesn't acknowledge password as a multifactor, the Authentication Policy should require "2 factor types" or "password and another factor". See the link below.

im guessing something is failing on the login and its not matching up your user account and then it loops back and keeps retrying because it sees your okta session cookie. maybe check your policies on your other working machine to make sure you dont see any error messages in the system log
