AbhishekC.96202 (Customer) asked a question.

Autopliot device provisioning with Okta

We are exploring Okta and we want to test Autopliot device provisioning with Okta.

Assumption is after device boots up, the authentication challenge should redirect to Okta.

for this do we need to break the current federation with existing microsoft?

Right now, we have assigned O365 app in our Okta test tenant to the user with which we are provisioning the new autopilot device

If I'm understanding correctly, to achieve what you are looking for which is "Desktop Authentication with Okta", you would need Okta Device Access. The O365 Application in Okta is a federation with Okta for O365 Applications (Teams, Word, PPT, etc.)

Here is some more information on Okta Device Access: https://help.okta.com/oie/en-us/content/topics/oda/oda-overview.htm
