SecN.79290 (Customer) asked a question.

How to track JIT Users Log In Within Okta Dashboard

Like the title states, looking for a way to track JIT provisioned users. Staging the onboarding process in sections of users and using JIT provisioning, looking to track participation. System log is available, of course, but has anyone else thought of this and how they tracked this?

Hi @SecN.79290 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

There currently is not out-of-the-box report for this use case.

What you can try and do is filter the logs by running a System log query explicitly for

outcome.reason eq "JIT provisioned new Okta User"

This should allow you to keep track of the events, but please keep in mind that it's subject to Okta's 90 days Data Retention Policy.

In the meantime, you can suggest a new Report for this use case to be implemented as a Feature Enhancement on the Okta Community page by going to the Community Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.

    More details here.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
