We are currently using Okta integrated with Microsoft 365, leveraging the Universal Sync option.
With this integration, we have observed that certain attributes, such as DisplayName, can no longer be directly modified on the Microsoft 365 side.
We understand that attributes specified in the Universal Sync option can be managed by syncing data from Okta.
Could you kindly clarify if there are any attributes that cannot be synced from Okta and are also restricted from direct modification in Entra ID?

The default expectation when leveraging Provisioning features is that the information flow is unidirectional. As such, profile updates should be done on the Okta side then synced to the downstream apps.
