Okta API endpoint for creating profile mapping attribute for Identity Provider/Saml
Hey Okta Community,
I am trying to figure out in the okta api docs how to call an endpoint to add an attribute to the profile editor for an identity provider/Saml integration. Anyone know which endpoint to call for this? inside the profile mapping https://developer.okta.com/docs/api/openapi/okta-management/management/tag/ProfileMapping/
I only see option to update, get list and retrieve a profile mapping

This is not currently supported.
You can suggest "add custom attribute via API" as a Feature Enhancement request on the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.

I found an older submission, but unfortunately it did not get traction to be implemented.
